Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
We believe in total customer satisfaction and will not give up until we acheive that goal. In the event that our labour proves defective, we will be happy to repair the problem at no extra charge. If the materials prove to be defective, we will provide our services at a discounted rate, plus the cost of replacement materials if they are not covered under manufacturer's warranty. -
Are you a Certified Interior Designer (CID)?
No. -
Do you specialize in a specific style?
No. All designs are based on the individual's tastes, budget and surroundings. Every project is different. -
How do you charge for your services?
Design services are 10% of the cost of the project. The installation of materials can be charged as a flat rate, for which an estimate will be given in advance, or hourly, whichever you feel more comfortable with. -
Do you provide a free consultation?
Yes, estimates and consultations are always free. -
How much control will I have over the final product?
As a customer, the decision on the final product is yours. After we complete the project, we can go home, but you have to live with it. For that reason, we want you to be comfortable in your environment. -
What makes you different from other interior decorators?
We are a family business, providing all services from the design right through to the installation, finishing and cleanup. Our dedication to customer satisfaction, quality and reasonable prices keeps our customers coming back for more. -
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, estimates and consultations are always free. -
Do you offer payment or financing plans?
Our labour can be paid off in installments, if arranged in advance. You will probably find that our prices are so reasonable that financing is not necessary. Materials must be paid for on completion of the job. If the material cost exceeds $100.00, they must be paid for in advance. -
What are your hourly rates?
Although we prefer to charge a flat rate, hourly rates are available from $25 to $35 per hour, per person, depending on the project. eg. A two hour job would be billed at $35.00 per hour to make it worth our time to pick up materials and other preparations. However a larger job would have a lower rate because we will be at the site for a longer period. -
Can I work along side you to reduce costs?
This depends on your amount of experience in this field, the type of work being done and the size of the project. Sometimes having an extra person present can actually slow down the project, thus increasing costs. -
How does the building process work?
This depends on the type of ceiling being installed and the type (if any) that exists. We will be happy to give you a complete, step by step plan once we see the project. -
How long does it typically take to have this type of work completed?
Typically, a simple installation in an average size room can take about half a day for T-Bar, or drywall. The larger or more complex an area, the longer it will take. We will be happy to give an estimated cost and schedule at no charge. -
Are you bonded and insured?
We are bondable, but are not bonded or insured as of yet. -
Do you assist in obtaining permits?
Yes. -
