What are your hourly rates?
My pricing is based on your type of event. Not an hourly figure, but a total price for your function. -
Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
I do require a non refundable deposit. If an event has to be cancelled due to reasons beyond your control, the deposit that I receive can be applied to the new date as long as I am available on that new date. -
What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I have been a Dj for over 16 years. Working clubs, karaoke bars for most of those years. I have done over 500 functions during that time on weekends being the primary functions time. I have and will also do private functions during the week as well, just inquire thru my website to check my availability. -
Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
I am partial to Classic Rock, Oldies, Disco, Top 40, Hip-Hop, 80's & 90's. I can cover pretty much every genre out there. -
Do you take requests?
I take requests at all times. I can't say every request gets played since I may be working off of a song list from the hiring client, but I always check with the client if a song can be played if it is not something they asked to hear. -
Can I provide my own music?
Absolutely, I work with CD players and can connect I-Pods if need be. -
Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
Maine Music Connection always has back up equipment on site just in case the main system does not want to cooperate for some unforseen reason. So be rest assured the party will go on. -
Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
I work all functions as a solo act. Which means I do all the announcements as well as organizing the entire event with you. I am a laid back DJ who does not take the lime light away from the Bride and Groom or the honoree. -
What is your standard attire?
It depends on the event, if it is a private party, then my attire is casual business or whatever you feel is necessary. For all Weddings, my attire is a Tuxedo unless otherwise advised to dress down a bit. -
How are you different from other disc jockeys?
I like to believe that I am approachable, accessible and very easy to work with. My goal is to not sit down and just be business as usual, but to work with you enough to make your big day a success. I want to think that by your big day, that we are friends and not just client and DJ. -
