I provide coverage for events of all kinds. My wedding photography is artistic/photojournalistic, but I do formal shots as well. I believe it is your day to enjoy and my job to get the photos you want with a minimal intrusion. I am easy going and relaxed. Some wedding shots can be seen at website. As a talented photographer, I create great, powerful headshots that will serve you well whether for a career in acting or business. I create vibrant portraits that you will treasure always including beauty shots with a first rate make-up artist, images of pregnancy, fine art photographs and traditional portraiture. I work with all ages from hours old to 100+. We offer heirloom prints, giclee prints as well as traditional prints in black and white or color. I welcome you to my comfortable studio in the Flat Iron-Union Square area. I have an M.A. in counseling as well as my photographic training. I enjoy working with people to create a magic image. And I run relaxed shoots that even the photo-phobic find fun. I am also available for your personal or corporate event. Parties and meetings of all kinds.   I have studied with some of the best photographers in the world privately and through the PPA and PPGNY. Among the schools I have taken classes are ICP, Visual Arts, and FIT. I often attend week-long workshops in various locations. In addition to my photographic training, I have a Master's degree in counseling from NYU.
• What are your rates?
  I am not locked into any kind of packages and am open to negotiating what is appropriate for your particular photographic needs and my level of talent.
• Do you require a deposit?
  Yes. For portrait-headshots and regular events, I require 50% at the time of the booking and the balance at the time of the shoot.
• What packages do you offer?
  I offer a simple headshot shoot for $300. Great for business people and actors starting out. Actors seriously pursuing a career require more variety and may want natural light as well as studio light, location shots as well as studio. Starting with $250 as a base I will work with you to create a package that is tailored to your needs. A full actors' package is $450.
• How many pictures do you take?
  In digital portrait-headshot situations I shoot until everyone is satisfied.
• Can I keep the negatives?
  In digital shoots there are, of course, no negatives. All photographer's work is protected under the United States copyright law. This means that I own the rights to the photographs except as released to you for your personal use and enjoyment. They may not be reproduced without my consent. Please ask any questions you have in this regard.
• What is your photographic style?
  I am intense and personal. I shoot naturally and artistically.

  Yes, I very much like black and white myself.

  Primarily digital, but I will shoot film if required.

• How quickly will I receive my prints?
  Digital headshots can be turned around while you wait. Portraits may require a more artistic treatment and therefore take longer. Depending on what is being done, that can be as quick as the same day or as long as 6 weeks for stretched canvas prints.

  People find me gentle, elegant, energetic and pleasant to work with. I have a great eye honed by years of photographic work.
