Yes, we have a customer satisfaction policy in place - it is one of the items I explain in detail in our initial consultation with our clients. -
What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
Tracie Taylor-Labonté currently the only Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) member in the Greater Ottawa area. Since 1995, she has organized business and community special events. She is currently working on achieving Professional Consultant status. -
How many weddings have you planned?
I have assisted with the planning of 8 weddings. -
How do you assist in planning a wedding? What services do you provide?
I can do as much or as little as you need done before the wedding and can be available to manage your wedding day as well as providing day-after and take-down services. -
Please describe the entire process you recommend, including before, during, and after the wedding.
I believe in using the initial consultation to get to know the wedding couple, attendants and families as well as traditions and things that are special and seeing how we can incorporate them into the ceremony and/or reception. I will provide a written action plan will also provide written - usually by email - updates at agree upon times. -
Do you recommend specific wedding professionals?
We have a directory of wedding professionals and will work to find the best for your budget, style and requirements. -
Do you get a "kickback" from vendors?
No, we don't accept payments or "kickbacks" from vendors. Should they insist in giving us a gratuity, we will either apply it towards your package or give the amount to a charitable organization of your choice. -
Can I afford a bridal consultant?
When you estimate that there are approximately 15,000 decisions - large and small - that go into making your wedding day, wouldn't you like to have a personal assistant who can create and manage your special day so that you have no worries and can enjoy your wedding day along with your guests? We can work with all budgets and all size weddings. -
What are your rates?
Our initial consultation is free and can last for up to two (2) hours. We have packages available and, should our existing packages not meet your needs, our consultants will work with you to create a package that reflects your requirements. We require a deposit to reserve your date. -
What makes you different from other bridal consultants/wedding planners?
I'm bilingual, familiar with both Quebec and Ontario laws and customs. I enjoy working with clients and their families. I'm not afraid to try different locals and ideas and can find ways to turn small budgets into lavish stress-free and enjoyable affairs. -

How do you charge for your services? Do you require a deposit?
A deposit is required to reserve my services. I charge an hourly fee that is reasonable and provides good value for money. -

I have over ten years experience in planning, creating and managing special and corporate events ranging from special board meetings, annual general meetings, customer-focus events and large scale multi-day special events.
