| Virginia Title Company is one of Virginia's oldest privately owned real estate settlement service providers. Originally opened in 1981 as Virginia Escrow & Title Company, today we continue to offer title, settlement and escrow services to the Richmond Metropolitan area, and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia under our trade name: Virginia Title Company.
Our staff of real estate professionals is fully capable of handling every phase of the real estate settlement process. Virginia Title Company is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
We are registered settlement agents with the Virginia State Bar, in Good Standing with the State Corporation Commissions Bureau of Insurance as title insurers; have complied with all the surety and fidelity bond requirements and maintain an errors and omissions policy for your protection against fraud or mismanagement of funds.
As a title agency, we underwrite our title insurance through three of the top national title insurers:
Chicago Title Insurance Company;
Fidelity National Title Insurance Company; and,
Lawyers Title Insurance Company (LandAmerica)
