Business Description

Planoimages provides high quality photographic services for Weddings,
Engagement, Portrait, Sports, and Special Events. Services are available
in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, and up to 200 mile radius, as well as
destination events.

I meet with each customer before the wedding to go over their specific
needs for their special event. For example with Weddings, although
engagement sessions are not required, they are recommended so as to
allow photographer and couple to become comfortable with each,
resulting in better photos.

Unlike many companies, I provide full resolution digital jpeg images on
a portable hard drive which allows for you to make enlargements and
print your own photos. I provide a copyright release for personal use so
that you won't have issues making prints at the local photo shops.

• Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
  I will work with the customer to work out any issues they have with the photographic services provided.
• What packages do you offer? What are your rates?
  There are 4 basic packages which include pre-wedding shoot with couple, up to full album and all day coverage of their special day. Pricing information is available on requests.
• Do you require a deposit?
  50% paid at time of signing contract, and 50% due 30 days prior to wedding. There is a 10% discount if entire amount is paid up front at time of signing contract.
• How many pictures do you take?
  I shoot 1200 or more images per wedding. I believe in capturing the event in a journalistic - artistic way. I believe the emotion or moment does not end when the couple has their first dance, the reaction and kiss after the dance, and the way the bride looks at her husband after the kiss at the first dance is just as important. I try to capture it all.
• Can I keep the negatives?
  I shoot digital images, not film, but I provide the digital images with each shoot. These are original full size jpeg images, meaning they are not photoshop.
• What is your photographic style?
  I have a traditional, journalistic, and artistic style. However I try very hard to personalize each shoot or event. I meet with the couple before the wedding to ook for ways to personalize the wedding for each couple.
• Do you provide black and white photography?
  Yes. The digital images allow creating both color and black and white images.
• Do you use digital or film?
  Everything is shot on digital. I use professional quality top of the line cameras are used, not amateur equipment and lenses.
• Can I see examples of your work?
  Samples can be seen at www.planoimages.com for both wedding and portraits. See the first two directories or you can go to the Professional Photographers of America web site, www.ppa.com and search for Cliff Traverse/Planoimages.
• How far are you willing to travel?
  Normal travel radius is 200 miles from Dallas area which is built into the price. Destination weddings are available.
• How quickly will I receive my prints?
  Digital images are ready for review 14 days after wedding. Prints ordered on line are usually received within 5 days. Albums are 8 weeks lead time. This is due to the time it takes to prepare the book, review and print them.
• What makes you different from other photographers?
  Communication. We won't sign the contract and separate until the day of the wedding. Although a pre-couple shoot is not required, I strongly recommend it as it gives us a chance to work together and get to know each other better. If you're comfortable with me, then when it comes time for the wedding, our images will be much better.
