Blue Ribbon Home Warranty, Inc. has been the only locally owned and operated home warranty company in the state of Colorado since its founding in 1985. We only cover properties within the State of Colorado. We were the first in the world to cover roof leaks, and the only home warranty company to offer a complimentary pre-inspection for property sellers and homeowners (not selling).
Blue Ribbon coverage is fourteen months of protection for the price of 12 - that's two months free! We have four warranty plans and two upgrade plans to choose from. We also offer two years at a discounted price and for properties that are a new build, four or ten years of warranty protection. We have continued to be a leader and innovator in the industry, quality customer service, and a knowledgeable staff to serve you. We set high standards and our warranty plans are the best defense against costly service repairs and/or replacement of your mechanical systems and appliances. That's why Blue Ribbon focuses on what really matters in the long term, affordable coverage, customer service, integrity and knowledge of home systems and appliances. Our coverage is offered for existing properties regardless of the age of the home, systems and appliances, and is transferable.

• What is a home warranty?
  A Home Warranty is a service agreement that offers valuable protection on the properties mechanical systems and appliances - heating system (furnace, boiler and heat pumps), water heater, plumbing, electrical, garage door opener, garbage disposal, central air conditioning or evaporative cooler, door bell, and more. We also protect gas fireplaces, hot tub/Spa, pool, septic tank, and wells.
• Does it matter how old my home is?
  Providing home warranty protection for your home's mechanical systems, appliances and more. Regardless of the mechanical systems, appliances and roof's age.
• Do you cover all makes and models?
  Yes, but we do have limitations on what we pay out to fix or replace. This can be found on our contracts - EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY #12. We now have an option for you to double maximum coverage on kitchen/laundry appliances.
• Do I need a home inspection in order to enroll?
  Yes and no. Call us on this one or read our contract which can be found on our on-line application web site or read by clicking Pre-Inspection on our home page at - www.BlueRibbonHomeWarranty.com
• Do I pay a service fee for each visit?
  yes, but not on renewals - call us about this. Also read in out contract about a Free coverage after 4 terms. This can be found under the section Renewals in our contracts.
• Can I purchase a home warranty plan if I am not involved in a real estate transaction?
  Yes, we cover Homes, Condominiums, Townhouses, Manufactured Homes, Mobile Homes, and Multi-family properties that are For Sale, Not for Sale, Rental Properties, or New Construction.
• When does coverage begin and how long is the contract?
  Our standard coverage is 14 months and sellers and homeowners (not selling) get a pre-inspection as well. This is all included in our cost of our plans.
