Start One-Up's founder, Joe Bordonaro, has over 11 years experience as a sales and marketing executive working with HR and benefit executives at Fortune 500 companies, unions, association and public employers. Joe has advised many of the largest health insurers including: Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, Aetna, Cigna, United HealthCare, Humana, Principal, Kaiser Permanente; and has worked closely with many of the country's top HR and benefit consulting firms. Joe has earned a MBA from the University of Michigan (a perennial top 10 program) and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio. As an independent agency Start One-Up is free to help individuals evaluate and select a plan and insurer best able to meet one's needs and is not limited to one company's plans.
