Since 1988, our DJs with over 15 years of experience have been satisfying wedding couples, schools, corporations, and a vast amount of clients throughout MD, VA, DC, PA, DE, & NJ area. We offer a DJ/MC team which allows us to be more interactive with you and your guests. For weddings we work with you from the first contact until the last guest leaves the venue. Q.  Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
  We have a 200% Money-Back Guarantee if our DJ shows up late, has faulty equipment, or is not well-groomed and dressed in proper attire.

Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
  All of our DJs have been professionally trained, and rehearse 8 to 15 hours a week.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
  Depends on what type of function it is, and location, average rate is anywhere between $100-$400 per hour. For weddings approximately $160-$250 per hour, depending on which package best suites your needs...

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
  Yes, and a signed contract, deposits are usually $150. Deposits are non-refundable but events can be rescheduled. You will not be charged your balance if you cancel within a reasonable time frame.

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
  We have over 15 years of experience in weddings, clubs, corporate functions, birthday parties, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvahs and have satisfied hundreds of clients.

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
  We specialize in just about all types of music, from Sinatra to Outkast. To be only specialized in only one type of music or genre wouldn't satisfy alot of our clients. Alot of people which hire us want us to be versatile, which we are.

Q.  Do you take requests?
  Yes, you can also create your own playlist by using our musical database at http://www.starrproductions.com

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
  Yes, you may provide your own music, as long as it is of top-quality, our equipment will not play low-quality CD's (poorly burned CD's). This is very, rare because 95% of the music which is requested by our clients in advance, we have already. If we don't we'll purchase the required music.

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
  We have back-up equipment at all events on site.

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
  We use a DJ/MC team which allows us to be more interactive with your guests. The DJ takes care of the music, the MC handles all of the announcements. For us this extra insurance for your event because in the event our DJ gets sick at your event, the MC can fill-in as the DJ also.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
  For Weddings, tuxedo unless informed otherwise, we also dress up for theme parties also.

  When you hire us, you don't just get a DJ, you also get a MC, which works great for weddings. Another thing that separates us is the way we read a crowd to know what songs to play and when. We know that all events are unique, which is why each event is personalized to fit your needs. Also one of our MCs, MC Jazz acts as your own professional wedding coordinator or party planner.
