Business Description |
Mission:
Our mission is to insure the financial safety and peace of mind of a limited number of retired clients. We believe a planned retirement is a safe retirement, and thereby a happy retirement.
Services:
Our suite of services includes a 20 year budget, investment management, tax planning, tax returns, withdrawals and withholding, long term care insurance, and estate planning. We call this our Retirement Income Package, and it provides our clients with a continuous view of where they should be, and how they are doing. We eliminate the fear of running out of money before running out of time, and the waste of running out of time, before running out of money.
Relationship:
We look for long term relationships with each of our clients. When the bond of familiarity grows between our clients and us, life improves. It?s easier and more effective to service clients we know well, while clients gain the confidence of knowing we will take care of them. |

Frequently Asked Questions |
 |
| Q. |
Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy? |
| |
We do not charge upfront fees or retainers. When a client joins us, there us usually a month or so before any fees are charged at all. If a client is not satisfied, they can terminate before being charged, and we would not pursue payment for services rendered. |
|
| Q. |
What are your qualifications? What is your education background? |
| |
MBA in Finance and Accounting, 14 years as a loan officer, and 16 years in the investment business. Passed the Chartered Financial Analyst requirements in 1996. |
|
| Q. |
What is your approach to financial planning? |
| |
We prepare a long term cash flow plan, called a Retirement Income Plan to help clients understand their transition from work to retirement. |
|
| Q. |
What services do you offer? |
| |
Investment Management, Financial Planning, Tax Advice, Insurance Advice and Estate Planning Advice. |
|
| Q. |
How many clients do you currently manage? |
|
| Q. |
Will you be the only person working with me? |
|
| Q. |
How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services? |
| |
Fee only, usually debited from the accounts, quarterly. |
|
| Q. |
If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something? |
| |
No, we operate like a mutual fund, maintaining your accounts within risk tolerance limits set up in advance. When changes are made to the accounts in our practice, they are applied uniformly accross all applicable accounts at the same time. |
|
| Q. |
Do you offer any guaranteed results? |
| |
No, investing is not about guarantees. Insurance Companies offer guarantees, but they come with penalties for early withdrawal, and guaranteed interest is much less than the historical average annual returns to the stock and bond markets. |
|
| Q. |
How much risk should I be willing to take? |
| |
That depends on how long you can leave the bulk of your money invested, what the rate of your periodic withdrawals need to be, and your personal fortitude to remain steadfast in the face of financial panic. |

|
| Q. |
