I have been a planner for 10 years. I have my BA in business management, also I am a certified bridal consultant with the Americans bridal association as well as a Certified event planner. Also certified with the awap.

Now after all these years I limit myself to about 8-10 a year. After all the years of doing 20 weddings or more a year I felt I was not giving my clients my best. Now I am able to step back choose whom I want to work with and give this couple my undivided attention too. |

I would not wish this on any bride...I strive for each bride I work with to have thier perfect day....to have thier future husband standing at the alter with that amazed "ah" expression that you will only see once in your life...When this occurs...I have done my job correctly.... |

How many events? Honestly I can not recall the exact number over the past 10 years. For a while I was doing 20 weddings a year, 2-3 birthdays a month, 4-5 Coorporate Christmas Parties, 4-8 Retirement Parties a year. Until we decided to take a huge step back and wanted to reduce the number of parties, focus more on my clients ...and BREATH.. which equals the better party |
