• Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
  Yes, I work until my clients are 100% satisfied. If we go over the amount of time estimated, I work free of charge until we get just what they want.
• Are you a Certified Interior Designer (CID)?
  There is no official certification yet in Oregon, but I have been in the business for 20 years and worked in both residential and architectural design firms before starting my business - my past clients are my certification - they will attest for my talent and professionalism and do refer me often to friends and family - what more certification do you need? :)
• Do you specialize in a specific style?
  No, I love all styles and bring 100% to every project whether it is a contemporary loft in the Pearl District or a 1920's period home. The most important thing for me is that I listen to my client's needs and nudge them in the right direction if something just does not feel right.
• How do you charge for your services?
  I am hourly at $85 per hour. I always give a detailed not-to-exceed proposal up front so there are no surprises on fee. I also work on a time basis not a time and material basis and pass any designer discounts onto my clients so they get great savings on materials and furnishings.
• Do you provide a free consultation?
  Yes - the first meeting is complimentary
• How much control will I have over the final product?
  Complete control. When you are spending money, it is personal. I get approval before anything is purchased. Sometimes clients want me to surprise them and that is fine (and I love to do it) but normally they want a say in what happens.
• What makes you different from other interior decorators?
  I think I have a unique sense of what each project needs and knowing what clients want their space to be early on. Also, I am very easy going and do not get offended if something I bring does not hit the nail on the head. I feel it is important to keep the process fluid and assure that my vision and the client's vision harmonize.
