Business Description
Much acclaimed Celebrity Event Designer and Television Personality Samantha Goldberg has designed and orchestrated events for over 17 years. She launched her, now highly successful, business in Chicago in late 1999 before relocating the planning offices to the East Coast.

Once a team of two, Samantha now oversees and directs a staff of 13 planners able to coordinate events all over the United States and several key destination locales. Samantha herself now dedicates her time with planning celebrity events, private functions and her own personal appearances in support of her television career.

Samantha’s expertise is high-design; although she has an innate ability to work within any budget delivering spectacular results whether given 3 days notice or 3 years of planning. Sam’s grace-under-pressure is a testament to her quick-thinking and problem-solving abilities; not to mention the most important element in event planning, maintaining a terrific sense of humor. In any setting; celebrity, corporate or private affairs, Samantha’s winning personality puts people at ease so they can just enjoy “their moment” without the stress of handling thousands of tiny details.

With the success of her business came the attention from television networks. Samantha is currently in her 7th season with The Style Network’s hit series "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" airing in 40 countries. Sam was also tapped to do their pilot called "Whose Destination Wedding Is It Anyway" shortly renamed "Married Away," and currently being aired. She has recently embarked on a pilot with the CW network.

  We always offer our customers quality and respect. If they are unhappy for whatever reason, we try to rectify the issue. We would never allow anyone to work with us who was unhappy with our services. It's important to like your planner!

  Samantha Goldberg of Gold Events LLC has worked in the professional beauty and fashion industry for over 14 years. She has designed anything from fashion trade shows and educational programs to weddings and events of all ranges. We are also members of The Bridal Association of America.

  We have planned over 1000 weddings and events.

Q.  How do you assist in planning a wedding? What services do you provide?
  We begin our relationship by finding out what is most important to our clients. Determine a plan that is best for both client and planner. We prioritize what is appropriate for the budget. Our best asset is having the ability to give our clients the best vendors and venue selection without winking an eye!

Q.  Please describe the entire process you recommend, including before, during, and after the wedding.
  Process begins with an evaluation of the event. Staying on top of all items that need to be completed prior to the big day and learning to spread our time wisely! We make our recommendations based on the style and preferences of our client. We then offer a solution based on the style, scope and budget.

Q.  Do you recommend specific wedding professionals?
  We have a very large list of preferred vendors in 4 states. This allows us to work with any budget and have many different styles to choose from. All vendors are insured and experienced with proper training and or certifications.

Q.  Do you get a "kickback" from vendors?
  We do NOT accept commissions from our vendors. Our reward is to get referrals based on the amount of business we recommend to our vendors.

Q.  Can I afford a bridal consultant?
  You absolutely can't afford NOT have one. A bridal consultant can save you more than just her fees in savings with vendors, she saves you your sanity! We hear many too many times...I should have hired a planner...After the fact. I did not even get to enjoy my wedding. I was too busy fixing issues. We can customise any program to fit your budget.

Q.  What are your rates?
  Our rates are based on the size and scope of your event. We do not feel a percentage based fee makes sense. If you have budgeted $50,000 and you spend $30,000, who really comes out ahead? You do! All of our programs are customized to fit our clients needs.

  We are a very upbeat-style savvy company with over 18 years experience in decor and ambiance. We also understand what it means to stay with-in a budget when "budget"is a factor. We listen well. It's not about making money it's about making you happy. If we cannot accomplish this no-one wins.

  We have planned all types of events including: weddings, celebrity functions, corporate parties, educational workshops fundraisers, engagement parties, showers, anniversaries, and even toddler tea parties. The cutest ever!

Q.  How do you charge for your services? Do you require a deposit?
  We do require a deposit. Payment plans are a consideration based on the budget. We are always up for discussion with special circumstances.We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash.

  That's a very good question. Why wouldn't you? We are a full service consulting company that provides insight on all levels. We have worked in both the corporate setting as well as private affairs.
