I have had over 30 years experience as a surgeon and have done over 20,000 cases. I also have several medical instruments and devices (including implants) patented. I am a frequent lecturer at some of the many medical societies to which I belong.

Q.	Do you offer a free consultation?
In most cases, but it depends on the procedure since some consultations can take quite a lot of time. All consult fees are deducted from the surgery fee, in any event.

Yes, we accepts major credit cards and also participate with several medical financing companies.

Q.	Do you offer a free consultation?
Generally yes, but some consults take a long time and patients are charged a minimal fee ($50-$75). This is deducted from the surgery fee, however.

Q.	What makes a good candidate for cosmetic procedures?
A healthy patient with reasonable expectations.

Q.	How safe are cosmetic procedures?
Very safe when done by an experienced surgeon and in an accredited facility and on a healthy patient. All patients are screened with lab work and and EKG (for those over 45).

Q.	What are the risks involved with aesthetic/cosmetic surgery?
As with all surgical procedures, the risks can involve bleeding and infection. However, these are very rare with an incidence of less than 1% at our facility.

Q.	Please describe the entire process, including pre and post surgery.
There is a preoperative consultation to determine if the patient is a good candidiate for surgery. Patients may view the facility and meet the staff. The patient is seen the day after surgery and followed afterward on a routine schedule.

Q.	How long do most procedures typically take?
This depends on the surgery but usually 1-3 hours.

Q.	Where will the surgery be performed?
All surgery is done at our state of the art surgicenter which is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (www.JCAHO.com).

Q.	What kind of anesthesia will be used? How long will the anesthesia take to wear off?
This depends on the surgery. It will be either local (for small cases), intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Patients are awake when they go to the recovery room.

Q.	How do you make sure there are no complications? What if there are complications?
Complications are very rare (less than 1%) but if one should occur, the patient is diagnosed and treated immediately.

Q.	How long can I expect to be out of work?
This depends on the procedure, usually a few days to one week.

Q.	How long does it typically take to heal? Will there be any visible scares or bruises?
Initial healing takes 1-2 weeks. Most scars fade with time and are not noticeable since they are hidden in natural folds or hairlines.
