We offer nutritional counsling along with our personal training services. We also utilize cutting edge Body Bugg technology to assist with client's weight loss goals -
What do I need to get started on your program?
Set up an appointment for a comprehensive evaluation including blood pressure, resting heart rate, weight, body composition, upper body strength, posterior chain flexibility, and VO2 sub max test. -
Once I lose the weight, how do I keep it off?
By consistantly challenging yourself with new goals regarding your health and wellness! -
Can I eat carbohydrates?
Absolutly, carbohydrates are the body's main source for fuel. The key is controlling blood sugar levels. Eating appropriate carbs, in the right amounts, and at the right times are the key! -
What other types of foods can I eat while using your program?
We take a unique approach with nutrition. Instead of altering years of habits with a single nutrition plan, we solicit from each client individually what their unique eating habits are. From here we set goals to change thier bad habits into good habits. This model sets the client up for long term, effective change instead of short term, immediate success with no "real change" -
Why do you focus on calories?
calories in vs calories out. When it comes to weight loss it is that simple. You must burn more calories than you consume to have effective weight loss. -
Can I choose my own foods?
Absolutly, in fact, we try to incorporate the foods you like as much as possible in your daily intake. -
Can I dine out while using your program?
Our book "It's All About Choices" outlines exactly what to eat at many of the local restaurants around town. We also offer hints and tips to use when dining out to keep consistant with your goals while also enjoying your life! -

Eating foods low in fat is one way of keeping down calories. There are many, and each person will require different modifications to their individual intake. -

This is a specific as each person who walks through our door. How much weight you lose depends on too many factors to give a general number. -

We take pride in our ability to work with special populations such as high blood pressure and diabetes. -
What if I have a pre-existing condition that is not listed?
Since our programs are individualized we are always accepting any condidition a person may have. Our close relationship with many of the physicans in the area allow us to accept unique conditions including but not limited to: stroke patients, diabetics, fibromyalsia, chronic low back/ neck pain, etc -
What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
All of our trainers have a four year degree and a certification in personal training. Our facility is CHORF (Comprehensive Outpatient Rehab Facility) certified. -
What is your educational background?
All trainers have a four year degree, our physical therapists are all state board certified, our Medical Director is Dr. John Borders -
