Elegant Events is a full service wedding planning
company that assists you in creating your perfect
wedding day.

I offer a variety of coordination packages depending on
your wedding location and needs.

My goal as a coordinator is to make your wedding
planning experience stress free and enjoyable. I will
work closely with you to truly understand your vision
and expectations for your wedding day.

I have coordinated weddings locally in the Des Moines
area. I am available for local weddings as well as
destination weddings.

• Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
  Since the work I do is not something that can be canceled; I do not currently have a refund policy. I have not had any questions or problems with customer satisfaction; therefore, I have not had to create a policy.
• What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
  I have been planning weddings and events for large corporations prior to my starting my own business. I am enrolled in American Academy of Wedding Planners.
• How many weddings have you planned?
  I have planned approximately 20 weddings and numerous other events.
• How do you assist in planning a wedding? What services do you provide?
  I assist in keeping the wedding on budget and finding cost effective and proven quality vendors; organizing rehearsal, wedding and reception. Being primary contact for all the vendors....allowing the happy couple and family the freedom to enjoy the wedding and not worry about details

  I work with the couple and family members to ensure that they are able to relax and enjoy the day.
• Do you recommend specific wedding professionals?
  I have several vendors that I recommend who are professional, quality and cost effective
• Do you get a "kickback" from vendors?
  ANY "kickback" or discounts that I receive from vendors is passed on to the couple. I do not believe in keeping extra money that could be used by the couple for their wedding.
• Can I afford a bridal consultant?
  It is MORE expensive to do the wedding on your own. As a wedding planner, I receive discounts and benefits for patronage to various vendors. I pass those to the couple.
• What are your rates?
  My rates vary depending on what you are needing. I have budget friendly pricing.
• What makes you different from other bridal consultants/wedding planners?
  The difference between my service and other wedding planners is that I PERSONALLY coordinate your event. I believe it is important to have the same person begin planning and coordinate your event.
• What services do you provide? What are your specialties?
  I locate the vendors, coordinate the event and I am the main contact for your vendors. I handle the pressure for you.
• What is your experience? How many events have you planned and what type?
  I have planned many weddings, baby showers, bachelor parties, birthday parties, Quinceañera, etc
• How do you charge for your services? Do you require a deposit?
  I require half of the amount agreed upon when the contract is signed and then the remaining balance a week before the wedding.

  I have a proven track record of happy customers and I am budget friendly

  I do events all over Iowa and would be willing to assist with an out of state or out of country event
