Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy? |
| |
We're committed to customer satisfaction. Only twice in our 40-year history has a client asked for a refund, and both times we paid it promptly. |

| |
40 years of experience. There's no better training that real-world experience. |

What are your hourly rates? |
| |
$600 for events up to 5 hours ($700 in downtown Chicago). Special-effects light show $100. Additional hours $100 each. Extra charge if the DJ is required to be completely set up more than a full hour before the first note of music. Extra charge if DJ needs to carry equipment up stairs. |

Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy? |

$100 deposit holds your date. Cancellation means loss of deposit, but we're happy to apply it to a future booking. |

We do about 350 parties a year. And most of our DJ's have ten or more years experience. So we know how to handle problems that may come up at a party. Our professional DJ's must know more than just what music to play, or they don't work here. |

We're well-versed in all forms of music. All of our DJ's are veterans who work well with any type of music. But we normally assign a DJ whose musical tastes are closest to YOUR tastes. |

Always, unless the client specifically requests otherwise. Guests dance more when they have a say in the music selection. Of course, each client may submit a "Do Not Play" song list. |

Can I provide my own music? |

Of course. For a commercial CD, just stick a Post-it note with the track numbers you want. For CD's you burn yourself, make sure you test them on a regular CD player. We've had clients burn CD's on their computers, and forget to save the sessions, only to end up with blank CD's. |

Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure? |

Yes. On-site. And a back-up DJ on call. |

Black tux. Some of our DJ's also have nice vests. We're happy to dress appropriately for theme events. |
