Recent sightings of Mary's work: The Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism contracted Mary to do a visual exploration of a Wisconsin favorite: The Friday night fish fry. Toby's Supper Club in Madison was the focal point, and includes images of lightly fried pike, friendly waitresses, and the iconic Wisconsin mixed drink: Brandy Old Fashioned.
Chicken coops anyone? Her photos are featured in Storey Publishing's Chicken Coops. During the process of researching/scheduling the photo shoots, she discovered that Madison, Wisconsin has many chicken coops residing within the city limits.
Recent recognitions: Placing second in the NPPA's region 5 (WI/IL/Iowa/MN) in sports for April 2009, and third in sports for June 2009. NPPA is the professional organization for newspaper photographers (National Press Photographers Association).
She also has two spreads in the August 2009 edition of "Inside Wisconsin Sports" plus a photo featuring Wisconsin prep soccer great Taylor Madigan in the magazine’s November issue.
Working with Canon digital equipment, Mary offers her composition skills while shooting, refining them with editing skills in Photoshop. You, the client, are respected and offered the best care that photography skills can provide.
