i have been shooting weddings and portraits in the santa barbara area since 2001. after graduating from brooks institute of photography in 2004, i started kristengrinnellphotography.

Q.	Do you require a deposit?
yes, i require a 25% deposit to hold the date.

Q.	How many pictures do you take?
digital allows to me to take an unlimited amount of pictures. how many depends on how long i am shooting for, but i would say a typical 6 hour wedding, anywhere from 700-1200 images.

Q.	Can I keep the negatives?
yes! as part of your package, i provide all edited and retouched high-resolution digital negatives. the images are saved as jpgs and can be printed sharp up to a 20 x 30 inch print.

Q.	How many weddings have you photographed?
i photograph an average of 20-25 weddings a season.

Q.	What is your photographic style?
my style is journalistic photography with an artist's touch, which produces images that are very original, emotional and dynamic images.

Q.	Do you provide black and white photography?
yes! i always convert a handful of images that i know would look outstanding as black and white. you receive the color version as well. i also will shoot black and white film if i see the environment for it.

Q.	Do you use digital or film?
both! most of the photos are digital, but i will shoot a few rolls of film if i see the environment for it.

worldwide! i am available for destinations anywhere!

Q.	How quickly will I receive my prints?
my turnaround time for an entire wedding is 90 days from the date of event. however, i post your custom slideshow immediately.
