I have a three year degree in photography from Lansing Community College.

Q.	What packages do you offer? What are your rates?
My base rate is $1000 to shoot a wedding from getting ready in the morning of the wedding till the end of the reception. I do offer smaller packages for people only interested in the service and a few posed photographs.

Q.	Do you require a deposit?
A $300 deposit is required to reserve a date. Cancellations more than 90 days prior to the date will get $250 refunded.

Q.	How many pictures do you take?
I typically take between 200 and 300 photos during a whole day wedding. That includes getting ready before the wedding till the end of the reception.

Q.	Can I keep the negatives?
Negatives may be purchased for an additional $250 after the wedding has been photographed.

Q.	How many weddings have you photographed?
I have photographed 12 weddings so far.

Q.	What is your photographic style?
During the service and reception my style is photojournalistic where I focus on capturing the emotions of the day without intruding on the procedings. For the posed shots I provide traditionally styled group photos.

Q.	Do you provide black and white photography?
I shoot colour film then convert to black and white or sepia toned images after the shoot is finished. I use a professional lab to do this which provides exceptional results.

Q.	Do you use digital or film?
I shoot both digital and film. I prefer to do weddings on film because of the wider latitude provided.

Q.	Can I see examples of your work?
I keep a print portfolio of my work for review that I can bring for clients to view. I also have an online portfolio at www.szilvagyi.com which also shows my most recent wedding proofs online.

Q.	How far are you willing to travel?
Travel within the borders of Oakville, Brantford and St. Catharines is included in my base photographic rates. I am willing to travel anywhere in the world if travel expenses are covered.

Q.	How quickly will I receive my prints?
Proofs are delivered within a week after the wedding. Final prints are delivered within two weeks of being ordered.

Q.	What makes you different from other photographers?
My style of picture taking is very unobtrusive so your guests get to enjoy spending the day being part of your wedding rather than part of a large photo shoot. This style also allows me to capture the sentiments of the day that refelects what happened rather than being staged with forced smiles.
