Hook Photography was founded in 2007 by Jimmy and Jessica Hook in Cumberland, Maryland . We started this venture out of our love for photography. We strive to give you the best possible photos and albums for a reasonable price.Our style is a mixture of photojournalistic coverage and traditional posed shots.Through our unique style we capture all of the special candid moments of the day as well as the normal posed shots. Every wedding is a story and we specialize in making storybook style albums that chronicle your big day in pictures from start to finish. We generally cover Allegany, Mineral, Garrett and Bedford counties but do travel further if necessary. We also offer on location senior and family portraits, bridal and engagement sessions, and sports photography . Please contact us for more information or if you have any questions. Photography is my passion. I have taken pictures for years and have taken several photography, photoshop, and graphic design courses. |

What packages do you offer? What are your rates? |

We Offer five different levels of coverage, ranging from $500-$3000 which are all viewable at our webise hookphotographyonline.com. |

Do you require a deposit? |

We Require a 20% deposit at the time the contract is signed with the rest of the balance due on or before the wedding date. |

How many pictures do you take? |
| |
Depending on which coverage you choose we will take anywhere from 600 all the way up to 2000 pictures of your big day. |

Can I keep the negatives? |
| |
We do not work with film. We use all Nikon Digital SLR camera's, but with our top package you get a dvd with all of your pictures with full access to print as many as you like. A DVD with digital proofs is available for an add on for all other packages. |

We have been doing wedding professionally for a couple of years and have done 40+ weddings. |

What is your photographic style? |

Our style is a mix of photojouranlistic and traditional coverage. We do traditional posed shots briefly before/and or after the ceremony, but for the most part we capture your wedding through a modern photojournalistic approach. |

Do you provide black and white photography? |

All Photographs we take can be ordered in color, black and white, or sephia toned prints. We will also edit some photos from your big day to incorporate color and black and white into the same photo creating classic black and white pictures with a modern twist. |

We shoot exclusively with Nikon digital equipment. |

How far are you willing to travel? |
| |
We will travel but I do charge $50 an hour travel charge to cover the expense of my gas and hotel. |

How quickly will I receive my prints? |
| |
all of your photos will be edited and online for proofing within 7 days of your event. If you get online and pick out your prints as soon as they are up you can receive your pictures in as little as 15 days after your wedding. |

What makes you different from other photographers? |
| |
We always come prepared for your big day and don't leave anything to chance. We visit your wedding and reception site with you in advance of the wedding to get an idea of exactly what you want from your pictures. We also will take sample photos during the advance visit so we know exactly how to set our cameras to capture you in the best light possible. |
