Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I have been a pet owner all of my life. Although I have no experience training dogs professionally, I have been able to teach several of my dogs right from their left paw when asking them to shake, sit to have their paws wiped after cominig inside etc.. I am a member of several association, volunteer with the North County Humane Society and pet first aid certified.

Q.  Do you offer overnight service where you stay in my home?
Yes. Overnight hours are from 9pm-7am.

Q.  Do you charge extra for giving medication?
No this is included in the price of your service.

Q.  How many times a day do you come to visit my pets? How long is each visit?
We offer one to three visits a day. The visits are aprx 40 minutes.

Q.  Will you come and meet with me and my pet(s) before I travel?
Yes, that is the free consultation. I feel the consultation is very important because it gives us a chance to get familiar with each other but more importantly so you feel comfortable with entrusting your much-loved pet to my care and they are comfortable with me. Note, Please allow 60 minutes for your consultation.

Q.  Do I pay before or after my return? Is there a deposit?
Payment in full is due prior to the first date of service in order to secure your visits. Reservations for holiday visits will require a deposit of 25% of total services requested in order to hold your reservation, with remaining balance due 8 days prior to the start of scheduled service.

Q.  Will I need to show a proof of vaccination?
Yes for rabies. Please understand these requests are made in the best interest of your pet as well as other pets we may care for or encounter.

Q.  What will you do if my pet becomes sick while I am away?
If I am unable to assist your pet I will take them to YOUR vet and contact you to advise you of the situation.

Q.  Are you bonded and insured?
  I am Bonded & Insured.

Q.  Do you have pets of your own?
Currently, I own a large breed dog that I adopted while working with a rescue organization. I have been told by friends that he is "spoiled" and we should move to Hollywood. lol I say he is well taken care of (all natural food & treats see www.frrco.com/121821), I brush his teeth and keep up his grooming) and there is nothing wrong with that since we do it for ourselves. :)

Q.  What are the advantages to using a pet sitter versus a kennel or a neighbor?
Your home is occupied throughout the day; as a result your home security is increased. Pet care is performed in your home therefore you will not need to spend time dropping off & picking up your pets. Your pet stays where he/she feels most comfortable and safe, at home. With familiar surroundings, sounds and smells your pet can relax.
