Philosophy and Style: We are a wedding photojournalism company based in the Lake Tahoe region specializing in telling stories about people, places and things. For weddings this means capturing the most intimate moments of joy, celebration and human connection. We look for the decisive moments that illustrate these emotions in their purest forms. Our photographic styles are best described as candid, non-traditional, photojournalistic, modern, and elegant. Packages: Since weddings come in all shapes and sizes, we offer a variety of options for packages. Pricing starts at around $1,000 and includes DVDs of all the original images. Since there is no limit on the number of photographs taken, during a typical 8-hour wedding we will take 800-1500 photographs. If you haven't decided which images you would prefer in color, classic black and white, or sepia toned, it's not a problem. With our specialized, high-end services, a few weeks after your wedding you can view side-by-side comparative versions of each type. Since we use some of the highest quality equipment available, images can be enlarged up to 20x30 inches and still retain gorgeous detail!   We have extensive photography backgrounds from photojournalism to advertising, from fashion and lifestyle to action and music. These backgrounds give us the skills and expertise to create not just photographs, but artwork and storybooks.   Wedding packages start at $1000. Portrait sessions start at $250. Please contact Emotion Photography for more information.
• Do you require a deposit?
  A deposit of 50% and a completed wedding photography contract are required for booking.
• How many pictures do you take?
  Typically, 800-1000 photographs are taken during an eight hour wedding day. With a second photographer or during multiple day weddings this amount obviously increases dramatically.
• Can I keep the negatives?
  Yes, digital negatives are available as well as Wedding Story DVDs. Please contact us for more information.

  Yes, we provide all types of black and white photography including traditional black and white, infrared b&w, and toned prints. We can also print onto canvas and specialty photographic papers.
• Do you use digital or film?
  Both digital and film are available as well as a variety of printing types including hand-coloring, sepia, and canvas.

  We are available to travel worldwide to meet the needs of our customers.
• How quickly will I receive my prints?
  Typically within 7-14 days of your wedding day, both you and your guests can begin to view and order prints of the images on your private website.

  In the planning of your wedding, who your photographer will be is one of the most important decisions you will make.
