Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I am a professional and have actually trained other local DJ's over the years. There is no offical DJ certification program at this time.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
I do not quote by the hour as most others do. This de-values all the time we will be spending together preparing and all the additional preperation time that is needed to pull off a perfect event. See my website for more detail on all the steps I go through.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
1/3 is due at the signing of the contract and the balance due 2 weeks before the event.

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I've been DJing and directing entertainment for over 15 years. I perform at approximately 20 weddings a year as well as various other events. I will only work 1 wedding per weekend.

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
I play to all crowds and all time frames from the 50's to the music of today.

Q.  Do you take requests?
Of course. I always encourage requests from my clients and from guests.

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
Of course! I just ask that you provide CD's that are in clean condition so they play properly.

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
  Yes.

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
Yes, and this is an area that most people dont think much of. You should realize that the DJ/MC is ultimately a reflection on you. An obnoxious over-bearing or even a dull host will reflect on you. You should look for an elequent spokesperson who is exciting and motivational in a positive and professional way.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
I will wear whatever is normal and customary for the event I am performing at. Typically this means a tuxedo or nice suit for semi formal and formal events. Whatever is customary for the event I am performing at.

Q.  Are you insured?
Yes, full liability insurance in the event of an accident.
