We have a very generous REFUND POLICY:
Our retainer/deposit is fully refundable up to 8 weeks before the event, provided we re-book the same date and time slot. Most other DJ companies have "non-refundable" deposits.

We only provide HIGHLY EXPERIENCED DJS:
Our DJ entertainers average 17 years (apiece) as professional mobile disc jockey emcees. Each of us have performed at thousands of events (most of them weddings and corporate functions), but many of us have "nightclub" experience too!



Q.  What are your hourly rates?
 
Our rates are "by the entire job":
We don't charge "by the hour," we charge for a "package" that includes consultation, planning, travel, setup, breakdown, and the actual performance. We spend over 12 hours on the "average" 5 hour performance. You pay one price for the event, with no "setup fees" or "travel fees"



Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
 
Yes, in order to guarantee our services for your date...
Our retainer/deposit is only $200, with the remaining balance due on the play date (after we have set up our equipment). We allow cancellations at any time prior to the scheduled date---if there are less than 45 days before the date, you only forfeit the retainer/deposit.

Our DJs each average 17 years apiece, as experienced owner-operators...
...Company owner Matt Cohen ("DJ-MC") has literally performed at several hundred private events. When you add in "club nights" the number of events is well over a thousand.

We proudly carry nearly every style of popular music...
...We're "General Practitioners of Music"--- we don't "specialize" in just one or two types. Your typical wedding has guests in every age range (from 8 to 80) and we can accomodate every style of music, even Latin!

Of course...WE TAKE REQUESTS!
...and we are one of the very few DJ companies that doesn't place unreasonable limits on your song requests. You can select your favorites from our very convenient online music selection site. You can even tell us what NOT to play (like "No YMCA" or "No Macarena")



Q.  Can I provide my own music?
 
Yes, we allow clients to "BYOCD."
...keep in mind that it is very rare for our clients to bring their own CDs, since we have over 6,000 Compact Discs in our extensive music library.



Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
 
Our BACK-UP EQUIPMENT is better than most other DJs' main systems:
We carry two (2) complete sound systems to every event. In addition, we use the highest quality professional audio gear which is the most reliable with the best sound. We always carry sub-woofers for "extra bass," which provides a fuller, richer sound than just 2 speakers.

We make all the announcements you need:

Q.  What is your standard attire?
 
WE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR EVERY EVENT:
Either a formal suit & tie....or "business casual" (dockers, collared shirt, leather shoes).



Q.  Are you insured?
 
We carry General Liability Insurance:
We have a $2,000,000 General Liability policy, which is double the industry standard...



Q.  How are you different from other disc jockeys?
 
WE'RE DIFFERENT BECAUSE...
...we are the non-cheesy interactive DJ service. We don't say or do anything "tacky" or talk too much on the microphone. We provide a live singer to many events, which is included in our highest level DJ service package.



Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
  We do not "specialize" in one style of music: We have ALL TYPES, exclusively on Compact Disc (CD).

  We don't charge by the hour.....we charge for a package of services with a certain amount of coverage and equipment.

  Yes, but we call it a "RETAINER"....We allow cancellations at any time prior to the event---within 60 days of the event you only forfeit the retainer/deposit.
