Q.  Do you offer a free consultation?
  We offer free consultations.

Q.  What makes a good candidate for cosmetic procedures?
People with realistic goals of average size and weight are generally good candidates for anything we offer.

Q.  How safe are cosmetic procedures?
Aside from occasional press reports indicating unfortunate outcomes in Cosmetic Surgery, in the right structure these procedures are safer than driving a car. When mishaps occur it generally reflects individual non plastic surgeons who attempt cosmetic surgery on unaware patients.

Q.  What are the risks involved with aesthetic/cosmetic surgery?
Aesthetic procedures are relatively consistent in providing low risks such as bleeding or infection. For people in good general health, risks are very low.

Q.  Please describe the entire process, including pre and post surgery.
We see patients in consultation free of charge. Prices and available dates are quoted at that time. Patients have an opportunity to review the surgeons experience, quality of results in prior patients, and expected outcomes in individual situations. Following surgery, all post-operative care is included. Patients are welcome to visit the office at any time as long as they like.

Q.  How long do most procedures typically take?
Procedures can take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours in length.

Q.  Where will the surgery be performed?
We are perform most surgeries on site in our licensed and accredited office based surgical suite. Occasionally due to scheduling conflicts we will perform surgery in a community surgical center.

Q.  What kind of anesthesia will be used? How long will the anesthesia take to wear off?
We use Board Certified Anesthesiologists. They offer a variety of ways including general anesthesia to limit discomfort to minimal levels if at all.

Q.  How do you make sure there are no complications? What if there are complications?
Complications do occur in the best of hands. Smoking, diabetes, obesity, and noncompliance are general risks for developing complications. If complications do occur they usually result in a prolonged healing phase. Sometimes revisional surgery is necessary to restore the expected outcome.

Q.  How long can I expect to be out of work?
Depending ont the procedure, most recovery periods range from 5-7 days to return to light work. Full results may not be achieved for 3-6 months.

Q.  How long does it typically take to heal? Will there be any visible scares or bruises?
The full process of healing takes one to two years. Despite this, most people are back working with visible improvement in 7-14 days. Exercise is well tolerated in 6-8 weeks.
