  The risks are minimal and will be discussed in full with each patient.

Q.  What are the risks involved with aesthetic/cosmetic surgery?
  Again, it depends on the procedure. Most procedures can and are done safely with minimal risk.

Q.  Please describe the entire process, including pre and post surgery.
  You will meet with the staff and Dr. Wallace to discuss your needs. Dr. Wallace will explain in detail what he can do for you and allow the opportunity to ask questions. We can also perform digital imaging for facial procedure. We see you back for an extensive pre op appointment. Post op visits vary based on the procedure you have performed.

Q.  How long do most procedures typically take?
  Anywhere from one hour to five hours depending on the procedure.

Q.  Where will the surgery be performed?
  We have a two complete surgical suites here in our building.They are fully accredited by AAAHC.

Q.  What kind of anesthesia will be used? How long will the anesthesia take to wear off?
  Anesthesia is based on the procedure you have done. Most patients recover in a few hours and go home later the same day.

Q.  How do you make sure there are no complications? What if there are complications?
  Everything possible is done to protect the patient from complications. We follow the AAAHC surgery guidelines to maintain a strict surgical environment. While things can and in rare instances do present special challenges, we work through them to ensure the best possible outcome.

Q.  How long can I expect to be out of work?
  It depends on the procedure. Most cosmetic patients need to be off anywhere from 2 to 10 days post op.

Q.  How long does it typically take to heal? Will there be any visible scares or bruises?
  It depends on the procedure. Some procedures will bruise and scar, but it is obviously kept to a minimum.
